The Amerex 720 10 lbs High Flow ABC Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher (1A:20B:C) is a stored-pressure extinguisher for fighting Class B fires, caused by high amounts of pressurized flammable liquids/gas and three-dimensional fire hazards. Suitable for use in gas/fuel stations, construction sites, propane filling and storage locations, hazardous material cabinets, marine terminals, salvage and recycling facilities, and warehouse and storage facilities. The Amerex 720 exceeds the required discharge rate of 1-lb/second set by the NFPA 10. This ensures reliable performance.

Useful for flowing or pressurized fuel. With a discharge rate of 1.22 seconds, the Amerex 720 boasts of a fast flow rate, which is effective in halting three-dimensional, pressurized, gravity-fed, and obstacle fuel fires. It quickly applies a greater volume of dry chemical agents for better firefighting capability. Amerex 720 can also be safely used against fires involving ordinary combustibles like wood, cloth, and paper (Class A) and electrical equipment (Class C).

Better operator safety.The chemical agent in Amerex 720 provides more protection in between the operator and the fire with its heavier stream. It also deflects radiant heat away from the operator due to its light color, which provides a temporary heat shield.
