The Amerex 10 lbs Multi-Purpose ABC Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher (4A:80B:C) is a UL-approved, 3-in-1 fire extinguisher that stops fires caused by ordinary combustibles (e.g., paper and wood), flammable gas and liquids, and electrical equipment in larger commercial spaces such as warehouses. With a UL rating of 4A:80B:C, this extinguisher has the same firefighting power as 5 gallons of water and can fight 80 square feet of Class B fire.

Better firefighting power. This Amerex Fire Extinguisher uses a specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate dry chemical that insulates Class A fires by melting at approximately 350°F. When sprayed, these fire extinguishers can last up to 22 seconds and reach 15-21 feet.

Rugged and reliable. Known for its high-quality fire extinguishers, the Amerex B441 is no exception when it comes to durability. With proper maintenance and service, it is guaranteed to last for a long time. Its stored pressure design boasts of sturdy steel cylinders, high-gloss polyester powder paint, and anodized aluminum valve body, handle, and lever. All Amerex ABC fire extinguishers are safe to use in temperatures ranging from -65°F to 120°F.

This fire extinguisher comes with a sturdy wall bracket. Please refer to the user manual for the manufacturer’s mounting instructions. As with all Amerex products, the Amerex Multi-Purpose ABC Dry Chemical Fire Extinguishers are ANSI/UL approved and manufactured to standards under ISO-9002. All Amerex ABC fire extinguishers are QR-coded, have bilingual labels, and contain required HMIS information.

Configuration Options

The Amerex 10 lbs Fire Extinguisher is available in red or chrome color finish. Chrome is easier to blend with the background, making it the preferred extinguisher in locations where style and aesthetics are a priority such as hotels, reception areas, modern offices, upscale restaurants, etc. However, because it’s more difficult to spot than its red counterpart, it needs to be accompanied by easy-to-read signage.
