The Exel 1mL LL Syringe w/ Safety Needle (300/case) is sterile, has a Luer Lock tip, and is oftenly used when patients have to take liquid medications. Injectable liquid medication should be given via injection beneath the skin for it to be effective. Some of the injectable medications have to be inserted into muscles to quickly feel its effect.

This type of syringe does not contain natural rubber latex and can be used with a simple finger stroke movement. The needle will remain inside the activated cover once used, which prevents unnecessary accidents.

It is imperative to have an understanding of how to properly read syringes to ensure that only the correct amount is given and received. The small black marks you see on the barrel are equivalent to 0.01 ml or 0.01 cc while bigger black marks are found every .05.
