The Covidien Capnostream™ 35 Portable Capnography Patient Monitor is a continuous, non-invasive and real-time respiratory status monitoring solution designed to measure a patient's etCO2, SpO2, respiration rate, and pulse rate. Compact and Durable. Designed with ergonomics and portability in mind, the Capnostream™ 35 Portable Capnography Patient Monitor is can easily be transported, with a patient, in any medical facility. With continuous monitoring of pulse oximetry and capnography, the Patient Monitor enhances clinical efficiency and improve clinicians' workflow. The Integrated Pulmonary Index™ algorithm combines four real-time measurements (etCO2, SpO2, respiratory rate, and pulse rate) to provide an inclusive assessment of a patient's respiratory status in a single number. It also has the Apnea-Sat Alert™ Algorithm that gives key insights through summary reports of recurring apnea events per hour as well as oxygen desaturations.

The Capnostream™ 35 Portable Capnography Patient Monitor with the Smart Alarm for Respiratory Analysis™ (SARA) algorithm is engineered to aid doctors to enhance patient safety, improve workflow and provide an accurate picture of a patient's respiratory status. This is done by managing breath-to-breath variability which reduces nuisance alarms and missed interventions. With the help of the Nellcor™ SatSeconds alarm management, the Patient Monitor calculates duration and severity of events.
