The ADC Diagnostix 3.5v Portable Set provides essential Diagnostic Tools for Mobile Practitioners, featuring a choice of Halogen or LED Lamp, two Case options, and both an Otoscope and Ophthalmoscope for versatile Examinations.
Otoscope
With a choice of either a Standard or Panoramic Magnified View (PMV), the Otoscopes both feature a Fiber-Optic Light Transmission for unobstructed viewing. The Standard Otoscope is made with an Optical Glass that reduces reflection and provides 3x Magnification. The PMV Otoscope has Reflection-Optimized and High-Performance Glass Optics that feature twice the Field of View and 66% greater Magnification (11mm Field of View and 5x Magnification) than the Standard Otoscope.
Ophthalmoscope
The Ophthalmoscope offers a choice between Coax and Coax Plus, both ergonomically designed for detailed Eye Examination. Each features an Integrated Thumb Rest, Synthetic Rubber Brow Rest, Dust-Free Handles, and Anti-Theft Locks.
The Coax Ophthalmoscope includes a High-Performance Aspherical Condenser Lens and parallel Observational and Illuminating Light Beams to reduce corneal reflection. It provides 24 Aperture/Filter Combinations, with six apertures, three filters, and 29 viewing lenses.
The Coax Plus Ophthalmoscope adds an 89 Single-Step Viewing Lens for full vision correction from -44 to +45 diopters. It also features a Karo Grid Aperture for transferring observations to graph paper and 28 Aperture/Filter Combinations, plus a Secondary Focus Wheel for correcting ametropias.
Battery Handles
The Battery Handles are constructed with Solid Brass and feature a Ribbed Design for an easy grip, along with a Built-In Plug and Rechargeable Battery. The 1400 mAh Li-Ion Battery offers up to 1200 charge cycles and provides 2-3 hours of continuous usage with Xenon Lamps or 30 hours with LED Lamps after a full 24-hour charge.
