Simple and very convenient in use, this DS500 Digital Scale from Doran delivers a great number of excellent features at your disposal. It comprises an Auto-On function that brings the Scale to work with a single tap on the unit platform. The function is intended to minimize power consumption allowing to operate the device with merely an effort. The LCD display shows patient weight readings in either pounds or kilograms. The large, 2" high digital numbers are very easy to see from a grown man’s height. The weight measurement is exerted with a 0.2 lbs resolution range. Importantly, the Scale comprises a truly durable, tempered glass weighing surface of a sufficient 12" x 12" size and a steel base construction ensuring a generous load capacity of 400 lbs. The overall Scale height is only 0.75" and it is powered off a 3V lithium battery.

Make sure you have spare batteries on hand

Its s good scale. It was frustrating that the batteries that it came with were completely dead.

Highly recommend this purchase

Great for my husband who can't lift leg very high. He can step up easily. Whole family uses for weight management. Wish there was something that came with it to keep it from lifting off floor on one side if someone doesn't step on exactly right.
