BD Flexible Minitip Flocked Swab is a new generation of specimen collection utility designed for extra use convenience, enhanced patient comfort and maximized performance efficiency. These Minitip Flocked Swabs are sterile and individually wrapped units.

Enhanced Performance
Minitip Flocked Swab tips are made with the implementation of a unique spray-on nylon technology that provides a higher rate of hydraulic uptake of liquid samples. This way the sample stays close to the tip surface allowing rapid automatic elution and adding proficiency to the analyte collection process. The Swabs as well show a better performance during the collection of solid and semi-solid specimens due to the brush-like tip surface. Importantly, BD Minitip Swabs eliminate the cases of sample entrapment like often happen with traditional fiber units. The Flocked Swabs have no internal mattress and do not cause any sample disperse or ensnarement. Due to the unique molded breakpoint on the swabstick, these units are more flexible and convenient during application for both healthcare professionals and patients.
