The HemoCue Glucose 201 Analyzer combines the precision and accuracy of a central laboratory to produce immediate, accurate results for screening, diagnosing or monitoring diabetes with just a small amount of blood. This system contains a small dedicated analyzer and is based on a glucose dehydrogenase method.

With factory calibration and an internal quality control, the HemoCue Glucose 201 Analyzer does not need any further calibration or much maintenance by the end user. Its internal quality control, the self test, runs every second hour when the analyzer is switched on. The self test will also check the blank value every fifth second as well, ensuring maximum accuracy.

The HemoCue Glucose 201 Analyzer can store up to 600 results. This system can be connected to a computer with the help of HemoCue Basic Connect software, where it can connect with any EMR system.

Data Management: Up to 6 HemoCue Glucose 201 Analyzers can be connected to a computer by way of the HemoCue Basic Connect software. This intelligent system allows for improved patient tracking and can connect to any EMR system. Test results can be quickly transferred from computer to any EMR system, and there is data management where you can manage results by fields such as site ID, lab ID, patient ID and microcuvette lot no. The software also gives users the ability to add comments and mark results.
