Soft and supple material ensures excellent handling and knot security. These sutures are made from monofilament nylon, which pass easily through tissue for reduced trauma and prevention of tissue ingrowth. Sharpoint™ Nylon Sutures are equivalent to Ethicon® Ethilon and Covidien® Monosof™.

These Nylon Sutures are dyed in black, in various sizes and suture lengths. Sizes 4-0 is used for larger vessel repair. Size 6-0 is used in vascular graft sewing. These sutures feature Precision Conventional Cutting Needles, which feature a triangular point with cutting edge on the inner curvature and precision-honed for added sharpness. Good for general skin closure, subcutaneous tissue, sometimes for ophthalmic surgery, plastic or reconstructive surgery. Available in 12 per box.
