Packaged in dry or in wetting solution, these sutures easily pass through tissue and are easy to handle. Polypropylene Sutures are equivalent to Ethicon Prolene and Syneture Surgipro/ Surgipro II. It is the most versatile of all monofilament sutures, and is characterized by superior smoothness, better knot security and a unique extruding technique, which ensures a uniform, round cross section.

Polypropylene Sutures are available as dyed or undyed, in various sizes. Sizes 4-0 and 5-0 are for larger vessel repair. Size 6 is for vascular graft sewing. These sutures feature Precision Conventional Cutting Needles, which have a triangular point with cutting edge on the inner curvature. Extra sharp because it is honed with precision. Excellent for general skin closure, subcutaneous tissue, sometimes for ophthalmic surgery, plastic or reconstructive surgery. Available in 12 per box.
