The BD Pressure-Rated Standardbore IV Extension Set w/ MaxZero Connector ensures patient safety with the MaxZero "zero reflux" connector while having a low weight and priming volume for use with infants and children. This extension set is pressure-rated and labeled for use with low-pressure power injectors up to 325 PSI and a maximum flow rate of 10 mL/second. It is available in monofuse or bifuse designs and is sold in 50 pieces per pack.

Increased Patient Safety: Created to prevent blood reflux, the MaxZero Zero Reflux IV Connector maintains line patency without positive pressure flushing and clamping. This anti-reflux action prohibits blood from entering the catheter upon disconnection.

It has a solid, sealed surface that helps prevent contamination from entering the line. The connector features a visible fluid path and high-flow straight fluid channels that enhance flushing, ensuring bacteria have nowhere to hide.
