The BD Standardbore IV Extension Set w/ Clear MaxPlus Connector is a latex-free and DEHP-free medical supply designed to provide much-needed flexibility and additional infusion capabilities to IV infusion while ensuring patient safety with the MaxPlus Connector. It is available in several configurations that differ in features and length.

Lower Infection Risks: Medical studies found that hospitals using the MaxPlus Needlefree Connector had lower unadjusted CLABSI rates and lower standardized infection ratios compared to those that are not using the MaxPlus Connector. The MaxPlus Connector has no interstitial space between the connector’s components, leaving bacteria zero room to grow.

This Standardbore Extension Set also has a smooth, swabable surface that is easy to disinfect. The clear, transparent connector housing allows for better flushing visibility and the solid sealed surface helps prevent contamination. It is also equipped with an anti-reflux mechanism for reduced catheter occlusions.

Versatile: The BD Standardbore IV Extension Set w/ Clear MaxPlus Connector is available in monofuse, bifuse, and trifuse designs so you can choose the best fit for your IV setup. It is also available in pressure-rated models for use with lower-pressure injectors of up to 325 psi and a maximum flow rate of 10 mL/second.
