Hassle-free Procedure. With its "dip and read" procedure, the Status Strep A Strip Test Kit easily detects Strep by using a throat swab to the back of the throat. This determines if the patient has the strep throat infection. Because of easy extraction, this strep test produces 96.2% sensitivity and 98.7% specificity results in 5 to 10 minutes. It also includes external negative and positive controls to ensure the accuracy of the test kit.
