BD Vacutainer® RST™ Plastic Tubes combine a great number of advanced features intended to facilitate a faster and safer testing procedure. The Rapid Serum Tube increases workflow efficiency greatly minimizing the turnaround time which makes the unit ideal for busy laboratory settings and emergency rooms.

Rapid Testing
RST™ Tubes feature as little as 5 minute Clot time and only 3 minutes for centrifugation which significantly increases the turnaround, saving laboratory resources and promoting patient satisfaction. The improved specimen quality ensures test results precision.

Excellent Features
RST™ Plastic Tubes come with a unique Hemogard™ closure that has a recessed inner design and a shield covered with plastic, allowing to avoid contact with blood that gets on the stopper or outer rim of the tube. For even greater use convenience, the Hemogard™ closure ensures smooth operation that eliminates blood splattering while opening the tube. In addition, the Tubes feature a V-Notch™ label that helps align secondary label promoting greater visibility and clarity. The overall Tube dimensions are 13 x 100mm with 5 mL draw volume.
