Face Shields

Face shields offer a comfortable, lightweight barrier between you and bodily fluids, bloodborne pathogens and harmful chemical splash. Meeting the occupational health and safety needs of your office or laboratory is an essential part of the modern healthcare profession, and face shields are a key aspect of that.

Standalone face shields typically come as a visor with or without nose support, with the shield chin-length or longer to protect your entire face. Built-in shields extend up from the face mask, wrapping around the face but mainly protecting the eyes. Both styles typically use plastic, and often times its optical grade plastic for clearer vision.

Professions that require or typically utilize a face shield include surgeons, surgical nurses, dialysis technicians, nurses, laboratory technicians, dentists, veterinarians and more. Face shields are often required to meet OSHA Compliance standards and qualify as Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
