In addition to being sterile, it is also x-ray detectable and meets the requirements of USP Type VII. Dukal's Prep Sponges are constructed of 100% cotton and are ideal for surgery preparation. They are available in two sizes and come with 500 per case. Dynarex offers a Drain Sponge that is highly absorbent and can be used for cleaning wounds, prepping surgery sites, among many other uses. They are sterile, packaged with 2 in each pouch, and come in open boxes for great accessibility.
