Safe Design The Covidien Monopolar Footswitch is designed with safety in mind. It is made up of quality cast aluminum. The Monopolar Footswitch is water resistant and also has a water resistant strain relief connector. For further safety, a divider bar is placed between the CUT and COAG pedals with the device having a non-skid rubber base. The footswitch’s 15’ cord allows for enhanced mobility during surgery.
