The Pro Advantage 2-Channel Tens Unit is a small, battery-operated device that delivers low-voltage electrical current through the skin via Pro Advantage electrodes. When placed near the source of pain, it stimulates the nerves in the affected area, sending signals to the brain that disrupt or "scramble" normal pain perception. Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) therapy is the most common form of electrical stimulation used for pain management.
