The Amerex Multi-Purpose ABC Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher (1A:10B:C) with Aluminum Valve is a UL-approved, 3-in-1 fire extinguisher that stops fires caused by ordinary combustibles (e.g., paper and wood), flammable gas and liquids, and electrical equipment. With a UL rating of 1A:10B:C, it has the same firefighting power as 1.25 gallons of water for up to 10 square feet of fire. It’s suitable for small to medium spaces such as offices, schools, hospitals, homes, and cars.

Better firefighting power. This Amerex Fire Extinguisher uses a specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate dry chemical that insulates Class A fires by melting at approximately 350°F. When sprayed, it can last up to 10 seconds and reach 9-15 feet.

Rugged and reliable. Known for its high-quality fire extinguishers, the Amerex B417 is no exception when it comes to durability. With proper maintenance and service, it is guaranteed to last for a long time. Its stored pressure design boasts of sturdy steel cylinders, high-gloss polyester powder paint, and anodized aluminum valve body, handle, and lever. Unlike other fire extinguishers with plastic parts, the Amerex B417 withstands fire and future recharge. It’s safe to use in temperatures ranging from -65°F to 120°F.

Mounting options. This fire extinguisher comes with a one- or two-strapped vehicle/marine/aviation bracket, which are all US Coast Guard approved and are suitable for marine, vehicle, and aviation applications. Please refer to the user manual for the manufacturer’s mounting instructions.
