The Amerex 322 5 lbs CO2 Fire Extinguisher (Class B:C) effectively stops Class B fires from flammable liquids such as petrol, butane, and propane. Due to its non-conductive properties, it is safe to use on electrical equipment. It’s highly suitable for laboratories, mechanical rooms, servers, and storage areas of flammable liquids.

Better firefighting power. Amerex 322 uses carbon dioxide which is a clean, non-contaminating, odorless gas. It does not leave residue behind. It smothers the fire effectively by removing oxygen in the air around the fire and also helps to cool the fuel. When discharged, it can last for 9 seconds and reach 3-8 feet. With a 5B:C UL rating, the Amerex 322 can fight 5 square feet of Class B fire. Due to its chemical action, CO2 extinguishers may cause asphyxiation in a confined space, so it is safer to discharge it first and walk away from the area.

Model 322NM is designed for environments that need a fire extinguisher that is not susceptible to magnetic force, such as MRI rooms, computer server rooms, and more. This non-magnetic model is independently tested and approved for use in MRI facilities to 11.7 Tesla.
