The Baseline 8-Piece Hand Evaluation Set is a reliable collection of devices used to give accurate measurements of a patient's muscle strength, range of motion and nerve function. The set comes with a protective carrying case, and 8 measuring tools that aid in proper diagnosis and treatment planning, making them essential in physical therapy, occupational therapy, orthopedics, and hand rehabilitation.

High-Quality & Innovative Devices

HAND GRIP MEASUREMENT: This Hand Evaluation Set features a Hydraulic Hand Dynamometer, which is constructed with a strong and sturdy aluminum body, comes with an easy-to-read 2.5" analog gauge that shows peak force in pounds and/or kilograms, and can effectively perform grip strength tests of up to 200 lbs force capacity.
PINCH FORCE TESTING: Effective pinch strength measurement can be done with the included Hydraulic Pinch Gauge, which provides accurate and repeatable readings (tip, key, and palmer), has either pound (lb) or kilograms (kg) units of result, and comes with a maximum force capacity of either 30 or 50 lbs.
FINGER MEASUREMENTS: The set comes with a 6" stainless steel Finger Goniometer and a 6" plastic HiRes 180-deg Goniometer, both can be used to measure the range-of-motion, in degrees, of a patient's joints to assess mobility or stiffness. Measuring Tape and Finger Circumference Gauge are also available, to easily measure the size of the fingers and hand for possible swelling, muscle atrophy or hypertrophy.
TOUCH & NERVE FUNCTION: Touch-Test Sensory Evaluator and 2-point Discriminator are also included in the set, which are mainly used to assess a patient's cutaneous (touch) sensation and nerve function in their hands. The Sensory Evaluator comes with calibrated monofilaments that emits a specific amount of force when used perpendicularly to the skin, while the discriminator perceives two separate point of touch in the skin to assess nerve function.
