This digital thermometer uses a replaceable 1.55v (LR41) battery and it comes with the battery already inside. Included with the Adtemp™ 413 Rectal Thermometer is a case for added safety and it also comes with 5 thermometer sheaths. It takes 60 seconds for the thermometer to reach the accurate temperature and it beeps when it's ready. It has a last-reading memory and an auto-off feature. It has a length of 5" and weighs only 11 grams, or .39 oz. The battery lasts for 1,500 uses. The thermometer is water proof and it comes with a two year warranty.
