The Adtemp™ 413 Digital Oral Thermometer is a popular brand of digital oral thermometers. It features dual scale options, both Fahrenheit and Celsius and has a temperature range of 90° F - 109.9° F, or 32° C - 43.2° C. It is accurate to plus or minus .2° F and plus or minus .1° C, which qualifies for the ASTM E1112 requirements of accuracy for intermittent thermometers. This digital thermometer uses a replaceable 1.55v (LR41) battery and it comes with the battery already inside. It has a 60 second resonse time. It has a length of 5" and weighs .39 oz. The battery lasts for 1,500 uses. It has a blue colored end.

The Adtemp™ Thermometer Sheaths are designed for the minimization of cross contamination when using thermometers. They are non-sterile and disposable, made for a single use. They are also very simple to use; simply slide the thermometer right in. They can be used with any pen-style oral or rectal thermometer. The thermometer sheaths are latex free and made in the USA.
