Learning to perform lifesaving measures - such as CPR and defibrillation - on victims of sudden cardiac arrest can be difficult. Full-size trainers can be beyond an instructor's budgetary capabilities or storage space. An innovative, money-saving alternative is the AED Plus simulator®, a small simulation device that plugs directly into a live AED Plus® and renders it inactive for the duration of a training session. Trainees will learn to operate the AED Plus® on the device itself, so no real experience is sacrificed, and the simulator allows for full practice rescue scenarios without delivering an actual shock.
