The Amsino AMShield Valve Disinfecting Cap protects the needle-free valves from bacteria.

Efficient Disinfection: The AMShield Caps have compressed foam spheres for maximizing contact with the valve. The caps utilize 70% isopropyl alcohol as the disinfecting agent. For high adaptability, a cap can fit over all types of needle-free valves and stays securely in place. It effectively protects the IV from bacterial ingress and provides a higher degree of patient safety. CLABSI (central line-associated bloodstream infections) is also reduced by its use. The cap is made of DEHP-free and Latex-free material to protect from associated allergies. The extension set is also sterile and a single-use item.
