The BD Bacto Todd Hewitt Broth Dehydrated Culture Media is recommended for the isolation and cultivation of group A streptococci and other pathogenic microorganisms. It can also be used as a blood culture medium. This medium comes in dehydrated form for the convenience of the laboratorian and bioprocessing specialist. It comes in a 500g bottle.

Formulation:

  • Heart infusion from 500g 3.1g/L
  • Neopeptone 20g/L
  • Dextrose 2g/L
  • Sodium Chloride 2g/L
  • Disodium Phosphate 0.4g/L
  • Sodium Carbonate 2.5g/L
