The Oakworks Battery Backup System provides power when AC is lost to the procedure chair during medical exams or treatments. It is compatible with Oakworks model 3000, 3100 and 3050 exam/procedure chairs.

The battery attached to the bottom of the chair without adding any bulk or hinderance in the operational area. When A/C power is lost or unplugged accidentally, with a seamless transition, the battery automatically kicks in. When the power is restored, it goes into charging mode to fill up the spent charge. If the chair is to be serviced or stored for a long period, the battery system can be turned off to conserve its life.
