The BD BBL CultureSwab EZ Collection and Transport System, 100 per Pack is a simple-to-use, media-free and high-quality set of medical instruments that utilizes a special polyurethane open-celled structure that protects and releases organisms from their own environment.

Amazing Swab Design. With its state-of-the-art technologies, the BBL CultureSwab EZ Swab design is made to provide superior performance for microorganism recovery. The EZ Swabs feature a soft polyurethane-foam tip that ensures patient comfortability when sensitive skin or mucous membrane wounds were being sampled. It has a double-action security cap that creates a watertight seal that prevents dried-out or leaky samples while increasing user safety. It also has a longer shaft with a length of 5 1/4" that makes it easier to reach tough sampling sites.

Reliable Tubes. The BBL CultureSwab EZ Collection and Transport System feature a round-bottom tube design that allows tubes to stand upright in traditional racks for hassle-free transportation. It has a color-coded cap that makes it easier for clinicians to identify and differentiate between tubes for different applications. These tubes ensure no specimen dilution and no potential non-viable organisms are collected. It also provides excellent recovery of aerobic bacteria up to 48 hours after collection.
