Safe and Reliable Device. Constructed with a built-in oxygen-elimination system, the BBL Vacutainer Anaerobic Specimen Collection Swab, 25 per Case activates when the plunger is depressed. It includes a reliable color-change indicator that ensures anaerobiosis has been achieved. This sterile device keeps anaerobic bacteria in a moist and anaerobic atmosphere that is viable for up to 72 hours. The collector is packaged in a peel-apart envelope designed for use in the OR.
