During a tracheostomy procedure, this sterile tube is inserted from the outside of the neck into the trachea (windpipe), providing a passageway for oxygen to reach the lungs. It also helps in maintaining the tracheal stoma open.

High-Quality Construction

DURABLE: The tube has a soft silicone construction, making it highly flexible to easily conform to the patient’s anatomy.
COATED: This Tracheostomy Tube has a SuperSlick coating in both its internal and external shaft surfaces, that helps in minimizing secretion encrustation, enabling effective suctioning and cleaning.
EASE-OF-USE: It has a twill trach tie, and a clip-in obturator with a hollow atraumatic tip, which allows changing of tube over a guidewire.
REUSABLE: This Adult Tracheostomy Tube can be used by a single person for up to ten times.

Special Cuff Design

EFFECTIVE: This Bivona Tracheostomy Tube has a soft cuff, when inflated, functions as an effective seal between the tube and trachea, accurately prevents aspiration, and optimizes respiration.
TTS FUNCTION: It has a "Tight-To-Shaft" design, wherein it rests tightly to the shaft of the tube when it is deflated, mimicking a cuffless tube and a small profile, offering a less traumatic insertion, and aiding in the ability of the patient to speak.
