The Uni® Type "C" Battery Handle is used with the Uni® Otoscope and Uni® May Ophthalmoscope. It can hold two standard alkaline type "C" batteries or the Rechargeable Ri-accu® NiMH Battery. If using the rechargeable battery, the handle can easily be charged in the Ri-charger® Charging Base. The batteries are simple to change at the base of the handle. It has the Rheostat® feature for controlling the strength of the light.

The handle is constructed of durable metal and is chrome-plated. It features a fluted surface for a secure grip and hygienic use. It has a plug-in type connector for easy and quick changing of the instrument head. The handle has a diameter of 28 mm. It is made in Germany and has a 2 year warranty.
