The COULTER® LYSE S III diff Lytic is a erythrocyte lytic agent used to determine hemoglobin and leukocyte counts using the COULTER JT™ Series, GEN•S™, STKS™, MAXM™, HmX, LH 500, LH 750, and LH 780 hematology analyzers.

This lytic should only be used with the ISOTON® III or LH Series diluent. The lytic helps prepare the blood sample for quantitative determination of hemoglobin. It also records the leukocytes (white blood cells) and figures out the origin of the leukocyte subpopulations.
