The Orasure InteliSwab COVID-19 Kit Controls are additional quality control reagents for the Inteliswab Covid-19 Swab Test Kit Pro (Point of Care), that is used by healthcare professionals to monitor the performance and validity of the test kits with direct anterior nasal samples. This is primarily done by a new operator before administering the test to a patient, when opening a new test kit lot or receiving new test kits shipment, and if the temperature of the test kit storage area falls outside of 2°-30°C (35°-86°F).

This kit comes with an instruction for use and 2 vials: 1 Covid-19 Positive Control and 1 Covid-19 Negative Control. The controls require refrigerated storage of between 2 to 8°C and can only be used before the expiration date printed on the outer box. Once opened, Kit Controls should be discarded after one week.
