The BD CultureSwab MaxV+ Collection and Transport System is a sterile, easy-to-use specimen collection system designed for the collection, transport, preservation and improved microorganism viability for bacteriological examination.

Awesome Design. Facilitating appropriate diagnosis, the CultureSwab MaxV+ Collection, and Transport System ensures the improved recovery of fastidious organisms such as Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria meningitidis, and Streptococcus pneumoniae. It contains a unique blend of non-animal proteins that embed into the swab fibers which provide additional nutrients for a higher level of recovery and maintaining microorganism during transport. The MaxV+ Swabs feature Amies Gel without Charcoal for hassle-free collection and transport of aerobes. This system is suitable for throat, vaginal, skin and wound specimens and shows a higher level of recovery compared to other Swabs in the market today.
