The BD CultureSwab MaxV Collection and Transport System is a sterile, easy-to-use device used by healthcare professionals for the collection, transportation, and preservation of aerobic bacterial specimens for examination. It provides an improved microorganism viability during transport, ensuring reliable results for better diagnosis. This collection system is sold 50 swabs per pack.

High-Quality Design

CONVENIENT: This Collection and Transport System is designed for recovery of fastidious organisms such as Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria meningitidis, and Streptococcus pneumoniae.
HYPOALLERGENIC: The CultureSwab MaxV Collection and Transport System is designed with a unique, soft rayon tip which is embedded with hypoallergenic, non-animal proteins, providing additional nutrients for a higher level of microorganism recovery.
DOUBLE SWAB: It has a standard Liquid Stewart, double swab design, and comes with a 5 1/4" long shaft, and a double-action security cap.
DURABLE: This CultureSwab System has a round-bottom transport tube design, and has a large polyurethane sponge as a reservoir for liquid transport media.

The overall construction of the BD CultureSwab MaxV Collection and Transport System meets the CLSI M-40A guidelines, ensuring heavy-duty function for laboratory needs.
