DAR Electrostatic Filters help to reduce dead space and weight while increasing and maintaining efficiency. You can choose between two sizes, Large and Small, depending on your needs. The Largesize comes with a Barrierbac hydrophobic media that protects against cross-contamination. The smaller size results in less bulk in the circuit, and reduces dead space and weight. They both may be placed at patient or equipment side without trouble. Both filters are lightweight and compact and provide low resistance to flow, which reduces work of breathing. The Small size comes with an end tidal CO2 sampling port that offers convenient access to monitor airway gases. These filters are supplied clean and individually packaged. Usage indications. For single patient use. These filters work especifically for anesthetized patients and respiratory care patients that require a breathing circuit.
