The Quidel Digital Heat Lysis Block is a temperature-controlled device for lysis of nucleic acids extracted samples. This device is particularly helpful when used for the 95°C step with AmpliVue and Solana assays. In addition, it can be used for the 60°C step with Lyra assays, as well as other assays which require a heat incubation step. This heat block incubator provides a comprehensive design for a wide variety of life science research applications.

Simple and Convenient: The Quidel digital heat block has a very simplistic design and functionality. Two digital 4-digit LED displays show the time and temperature. Time and temperature values can be easily set through buttons on the front and a single button on the side starts or stops the operation. the block can heat samples up to a specific temperature and can hold the temperature for a set time. This flexibility allows achieving objective results for better patient care through an accurate, easy-to-use and automated platform.

Accuracy: This block has a reliable temperature control mechanism with a capability of operating in a range of +5°C to 150°C. It has a uniformity of ± 0.2°C and an accuracy of ± 0.3°C with a number of factory calibrated check points. It also allows the user to calibrate the temperature for higher precision. The timer goes from 1 to 99 hours 59 minutes with 1-minute increments.
