The BD FecalSwab Collection and Transport System is a sterile, easy-to-use device used by healthcare professionals for the collection, transportation, and preservation of bacterial specimens for enteric diagnostics.

High-Quality Design & Function

EFFECTIVE: It maintains microorganism viability for up to 48 hours (depending on the organism), ensuring reliable results for better diagnosis.
INCLUSIONS: The FecalSwab Collection and Transport Kit features a regular flocked swab, that can be used to easily obtain specimen sample, and a compact transport tube that can easily be transferred to the laboratory.
SAFE TRANSPORT: Its transport tube has a 2mL modified Cary-Blair medium, and has a red screw cap for effective sealing.
FEATURE: The tube is designed to convert solid or semi-solid fecal specimens into a compatible sample for automated specimen processors, such as the BD Kiestra InoqulA Sample Processor (Sold Separately).
