The Detecto 6550 Folding Portable Wheelchair Scale is a medical-grade scale designed for bariatric wheelchair users weighing up to 1000 lbs. Designed for easy and safe weighing of wheelchair-bound patients, the Detecto 6550 Folding Portable Wheelchair Scale has a large 32" x 36" platform and low angle, 2.2" high ramps for easy loading and unloading. It uses a MedVue Medical Weight Analyzer display mounted on a built-in column for convenient and accurate weighing sessions.

Portable: The Detecto 6550 has heavy-duty wheels and handles and can be folded for transportation and vertical storage in compact spaces. It can also be powered by 6x AA batteries when portability is required.

Advanced Weight Display: The MedVue Medical Weight Analyzer is a compact, lightweight analyzer that displays weight, height, and BMI on a large backlit LCD screen. Its soft alphanumeric keyboard and simple navigation allow for easy data input and updates in four different languages - English, Spanish, French, German. Patients may be assigned 14-digit IDs to save time. MedVue's high-capacity memory stores 200 transactions and 99 tare weights. The device boasts a built-in height rod port. It features USA-made quality and durability for long life and flawless operation.

Wired or wireless EMR/EHR Connectivity: The MedVue Indicator makes it easy to comply with EHR regulations with options for wired (standard RS232 serial and USB ports) and wireless (WiFi and Bluetooth) connectivity to EMR/EHR systems. It can also connect with various devices such as tablets, printers, PCs, networks, barcode scanners, and even cellular phones. The device may be connected using more than one of the ports simultaneously for efficiency.
