Using the Harvey DLX will allow you the ability to hear the lowest frequencies that the human ear can detect, such as faint diastolic gallop or rumble. The higher frequencies sounds can be heard as well such as the faint early long time blowing aortic diastolic murmur. The double and triple head feature a flat diaphragm and bell. The triple head also utilizes a corrugated diaphragm for additional auscultatory capabilities. To select, just simply hold the chestpiece stem in one hand and rotate the chestpiece until a chick is heard or felt.
