The EKF Diagnostics HemataStat II Hematocrit Blood Analyzer Centrifuge is a high-speed centrifuge for measuring volume of red blood cells in a blood sample. This centrifuge spins samples with large centrifugal forces so that the RBCs in the samples separate. The concentration of RBCs in blood can help identify a number of medical conditions, so the HemataStat II can be used to assess and analyze patients’ health.

High Utility: The HemataStat II is designed to automate and simplify the process of blood analysis. In a spin cycle of just 60 seconds, it automatically calculates the ratio of volume of red blood cells to the volume of blood sample. The operation is very quiet and keeps the testing environment free of noise.

The centrifuge’s rotor is of high quality with 6 slots and a fixed angle. The whole process is very simple, easy and intuitive. You just have to place the collected sample in the rotor slot and start the machine. The results are displayed on an LCD at the end of the centrifugal cycle. It is a small and lightweight package that does its job quickly and efficiently.
