The R&D Glu/Hgb is a tri-level control that is used to ensure that tests run on the HemoCue Glucose and HemoCue Hb analyzers are accurate and precise. These controls come in three levels to provide values for abnormal low, normal and abormal high ranges. They are packed in 1.5 mL plastic dropper vials, and contain erythrocytes and lysing reagent. The R&D Glu/Hgb control has a 105-day closed vial stability with 30 day open vial stability at 15°C to 30°C.
