The Baseline HiRes Hydraulic Pinch Gauge is designed to provide an accurate and convenient tool for measuring hand strength, allowing therapists to easily and effectively measure a patient’s pinch ability in tip, key, and palmer pinch tests. The HiRes design is preferred since it has a extra-large analog gauge which is easy read-out. There are two versions, the regular 50 lb capacity pinch gauge and the extended range pinch gauge, measuring strength with up to 100 pounds of pressure capacity for improved versatility and ease of use for patients of all strength and ability levels. Both dynamometers have a blue body and an extra-large 3.5-inch analog gauge which is easy to read. The 3.5-inch analog gauge shows clear reading measurements for easy visibility and tracking, and can be shown in either pounds or kilograms depending on user preference.
