The Smiths Medical Hyperflex TTS Adult Tracheostomy Tube w/ Adjustable Neck Flange is a reliable device used to help an adult patient breathe through an opening in the neck area. During a tracheostomy procedure, this sterile tube is inserted from the outside of the neck into the trachea (windpipe), providing a passageway for oxygen to reach the lungs.

High-Quality Construction

DURABLE: The tube has a long and flexible silicone shaft, which is wire-reinforced, accommodating difficult airway anatomy and reducing kink and crush.
EFFECTIVE: Its silicone body remains soft and flexible up to the trachea, ensuring effectivity and less irritability.
CUFF DESIGN: This Adult Tracheostomy Tube has a soft cuff, when inflated, functions as an effective seal between the tube and trachea, effectively prevents aspiration, and optimizes respiration.
TTS FUNCTION: It has a "Tight To Shaft" design, wherein it rests tightly to the shaft of the tube when it is deflated, mimicking a cuffless tube and a small profile, offering a less traumatic insertion, and aiding in the ability of the patient to speak.

RELIABLE: This Tube is designed to have an adjustable neck flange, for horizontal or vertical shaft drop, effectively adjusting to unusual anatomy or pathology of a patient.
DEPENDABLE: This Hyperflex Tracheostomy Tube comes with a clip-in obturator with hollow tip that offers tube changing over a guidewire, a twill trach tie to hold the tube, and a 15mm disconnect wedge.
VERSATILE: This tracheostomy tube can be used on patients who are obese, and/or with thick neck, bull neck, or trauma.

*This Tube is only designed for temporary use to secure airway, and needs to be changed with a proper-length, fixed-neck flange tube.
