The Detecto Icon® Digital Clinical Scale represents a new generation of clinical scales meeting no analogues on the market. It is a fully automatic, simple to use, highly durable digital scale with height rod.

This Detecto physician digital scale features a non-skid,ultra thin, low-profile platform (only 1.5 inches) and measuring 17” W x 17” D. Touchless Sonar Height Rod conducts measuring automatically within several seconds. When the patient steps on the weighing platform, the weight, height and body mass index measurements instantly appear on the screen. It automatically locks in the weight for a few seconds for easy measurement recording. This eye-level digital clinical scale is assembled with a multi-color, touchscreen LCD display. Its user-friendly menu button ensures quick access to settings. It It also gives an advantage of the dual ranging capacity of 0.2 lb/0.1 kg up to 600 lb/300 kg and 0.5 lb/0.2 kg up to 1,000 lb/500 kg. This scale is powered by a standard AC adapter or 12 AA batteries (sold separately).

Detecto Icon® Digital Clinical Scale features an easy connectivity with computer, printer and monitor for data transfer. This scale unit is assembled with 1 RS232 serial port, 1 USB-B port and offers 3 more connectivity options.

The Icon® Eye-Level Column Scale has multiple communication ports for EMR/EHR connectivity and data output to Welch Allyn® devices. The apex® features two RS232 serial ports, USB, and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity, while the icon® offers a USB port and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity. Both scales are HL7 IEEE compliant (standard).
