The Smiths Medical Jelco Multi-Sample Blood Collection Needle (1000/case) is one of the primary items needed by healthcare professionals in collecting blood samples of patients. This is usually used in drawing multiple blood samples, together with the Venipuncture Needle-Pro safety holder device and an evacuated tube, which are both sold separately.

The 22G needle is used for routine venipuncture in a patient with a healthy and normal vein, while the other side of the needle is connected to the evacuated tube for the collection of multiple blood samples. The needle is sharp, its shelf life is up to 5 years, and it has a black color-coded cover based on its gauge.
