The Quidel Lyra RSV-hMPV Assay is a real-time PCR that qualitatively detects and identifies respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and human metapneumovirus (hMPV). It uses nasal swabs and nasopharyngeal swabs from symptomatic patients.

SIMPLIFIED WORKFLOW: One-step reagent setup where the rehydration solution is added to the lyophilized Master Mix. Has standard pipetting volumes for easy training.

EASY HANDLING: 2°C to 8°C storage does not require a freezer. Room-temperature setup with no ice or cooling block required.

FOR USE WITH: Applied Biosystems®  7500 Fast Dx, QuantStudioTM  Dx Real-Time PCR Instrument, and Cepheid®  SmartCycler®  II.
