Electronic Lock with Proximity Badge Reader: The cart comes with an electronic lock with a proximity badge reader (upgradable to wireless) that can be accessed via PIN or the badge reader. It can give access to up to 250 users per cart, with drawers that automatically relock after access and a key lock override for emergency access. The proximity reader enables users to add or delete users with HID-compatible badges (Prox and iClass). The lock is operated with six D-cell batteries with a one-year minimum life of 25-50 uses per day.
