The lightweight BD Max-Core Disposable Core Biopsy Needle is ergonomically designed to allow for easy single-handed control with a gloved hand. It has two firing buttons to give operators the flexibility to use different biopsy techniques and a sharp-beveled trocar to reduce crush artifacts when collecting samples. It also has an angled, deep sample notch for collecting large amounts of high-quality core samples.

This single-use disposable biopsy needle is available in several gauge sizes and needle lengths as noted below. Color coding makes it easy to identify the needle gauge. The Max-Core Biopsy Needle is compatible with TruGuide Coaxial Biopsy Needle (not included) for even greater efficiency and accuracy.
