This is well-constructed and was easy enough to install by just putting in on a couple of screws that go through the pre-drilled holes in the back. I can imagine this would be a reason NOT to get it if you needed a high-security (?) medicine cabinet because it's easy enough to tear right off the wall as a result. One also needs to make sure one doesn't put any extra weight on it in excess of the hanging weight, of course. The physical construction drawbacks are: while theoretically possible to replace one of the locks with a thumb-style opener, they're clipped in pretty well and after futzing with this for a while I gave up and just left the key in the lock (and left the second lock unlocked) for easy access. The shelves are absolutely not adjustable, and we couldn't fit a prefab first aid kit in as a result. One other nit to pick: the red cross sticker on the front, while I can imagine is helpful to identify it in places like a work setting, was stuck on crooked (bad QA, folks) and it bothered me enough I tried to move it...and it just ripped. It looks cool in the pictures... That said, this was a perfect solution for our household meds needs, where we have a couple of household members who have to take things out at meals and we have no easy access traditional medicine location. Our kitchen shelves kept presenting problems of vitamin bottles, etc. getting cluttered in with other pantry items, and we didn't want to make mistakes in pulling out particular bottles. So it went up on a spot in our kitchen with easy access and has been quite useful. We use the clipboard-pocket on the inside for drug interaction inserts, and the little pull out shelf has come in handy for quick reorganizations of pill bottles.
